Ryane's Recipe of the Month

Un-stuffed - Healthy Egg Roll Stir Fry


Ingredients:


1.5 lbs Ground Beef (Grass fed or organic preferred or cheapest at Walmart. You could also use a meat substitute)

3 cups Shredded Cabbage (Whole Foods has a cabbage mix pre-shredded for $3)

1 cup cut Green Onions

4 Garlic Cloves 0r 2 t. of jarred Garlic (Walmart & Whole Foods have pre-peeled garlic near produce section)

1 T. Sesame Oil

3 small Carrots

1/4 c Low sodium Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos

2 t. Sesame Seeds


Instructions:


In a bowl whisk garlic, sesame oil, & soy sauce. Set aside.


In a large skillet, brown beef on medium/high heat. Drain.


Stir in shredded/chopped carrots, onions, & cabbage. Cook 2-3 minutes stirring often.


Sprinkle in sesame seeds.


Ryane's Tips


Remember when meal prepping, or cooking in general, to make that food taste good! Always make enough for a few meals! This dish tastes great served with steamed rice. Be creative in your cooking and make it a fun experience. Be mindful that fresh, whole, clean is key! Food feeds your body for performance as well as your overall health. Put that premium fuel in! Let the clean eating begin!
